Housing Aid: 110,000 Applications Submitted, 35,000 Beneficiaries
After one year of implementation, the number of citizens wishing to benefit from the housing aid program has exceeded 110,000. 35,000 have benefited from it to date.
The direct housing aid program has benefited 35,000 citizens as of January 6, according to Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, Housing Minister, during oral questions in the Chambre of Representatives.
More than 110,000 people have expressed their desire to benefit from this program.
Among the beneficiaries, 26% are Moroccans residing abroad, and 32% are youth.
Regarding financial aid, 63% of beneficiaries received 70,000 DH in support, while 37% received 100,000 DH.
The Minister also recalled that the goals for 2024 envisaged supporting 75,000 housing units between direct aid and social housing.
To date, 94,000 units have been supported, which represents 125% of the initial target for the first year of program implementation.
