RNI: From the path of achievements to the path of the future!

In apotheosis, the tour of the National Rally of Independents, which traveled through Morocco’s 12 regions, came to a close on December 20 in Tangier. A recap of the lessons learned and the strong messages of an initiative by a party that assumes its commitments and its achievements… and which, with full legitimacy, nurtures ambitions.

Departure station: Dakhla, on May 3. The National Rally of Independents (RNI) launched, from this future African Guangzhou, a regional tour around the theme “The Path of Achievements”.

A new initiative by the party which, since 2016 – with the arrival of Aziz Akhannouch at its head – has made permanent contact with citizens its mantra. “The Path of Trust”, the “100 days, 100 cities” tour are, among others, actions that enabled the political formation to best understand the expectations of Moroccans and to draw inspiration from them in establishing its electoral program.

Education–Health–Employment was in fact the triptych of priorities consecrated by citizens and which constituted the foundation of the government program for which the RNI and its allies obtained a vote of confidence.

The party immediately embarked on “the path of development”, another comprehensive national tour, to raise awareness among its elected officials to commit to implementing and concretizing the promises set out in this pact with citizens.

“And here we are today, after four years of government action, on the Path of Achievements, to debate with you: what have we accomplished? What remains to be done? Such is the working method of the National Rally of Independents, such is our identity: to listen to citizens’ concerns, translate them into clear commitments and work to make them a reality”, emphasized Aziz Akhannouch, at the closing of this tour in Tangier on December 20.

Tangible results, impact on daily life
In this final address, the Head of Government did not fail to specify that the Royal orientations provide a clear roadmap and that the government has worked to deploy it, while facing external shocks.

“We have taken courageous decisions, sometimes arduous, and have remained resilient in the face of crises”, recalled the leader of the majority.

The results are most compelling. The social state has remained at the heart of priorities, despite constraints, and the Akhannouch government has consolidated the resilience of the national economy and strengthened investment.

“For only a solid economy is able to finance all of our social programs. These, in turn, contribute to strengthening citizens’ capacities, enabling them to live in the dignity to which they aspire, and to relaunch, through their action, the country’s economic momentum”, explains Akhannouch.

The macroeconomic indicators speak for themselves: the growth rate will reach 5% by the end of this year, the deficit has fallen from 7.5% to 3%, inflation has declined from 6% to less than 1%, public debt has dropped from 71.4% in 2022 to 67.4% in 2025, and the economy is experiencing sustained momentum across all regions.

“The increase in economic growth, the decline in inflation, as well as the reduction of the deficit and debt are not abstract indicators; they have an impact on the lives and dignity of Moroccan families. For it is what allows us, among other things, to ensure the payment of direct social assistance to 4 million families and AMO Tadamon medical coverage”, maintains Akhannouch.

New momentum in government work
Proud of his achievements, the Head of Government does not forget to recall the prejudgments made by his political detractors. “Do you remember when some, within Parliament, told us it would be impossible to continue along this path? We replied that, by the will of God and through serious and sustained work, we would succeed. The strength of this government lies in its ability to mobilize the resources necessary to implement the government program, while facing the challenges encountered along the way”, he recalls.

Seriousness, this “ma3koul,” is the watchword of the RNI, which respects its moral contract with Moroccans. The program presented to citizens contains commitments and duties. “These are by no means simple promises uttered and then forgotten. We fully assume our responsibilities on the basis of the commitments we have made, and we work with seriousness and a sense of responsibility to make these promises a reality”, emphasizes Akhannouch.

“That is why we present, with figures and evidence in support, what has been achieved on the ground and what remains to be accomplished, and we continue the dialogue with you. This approach bothers some, but it will not stop us”, he adds, greeting his partners within the majority.

“We have infused new momentum into collective government work, strengthened coordination between the various components, managed our differences responsibly, acted as a united and coherent team, and placed the general interest above any individual or partisan consideration”, Akhannouch continues in this regard.

Upon arriving at its terminus, “The Path of Achievements” once again testifies to this RNI approach, which has broken with the seasonal relationship that political formations generally maintain with the population.

“The High Orientations of His Majesty the King constitute the foundation that keeps us permanently in the field: in contact with citizens, listening to and understanding their concerns, explaining our public policies and responding to their questions. We will continue along this path, because the citizen is at the heart and the ultimate purpose of all public policy”, adds Akhannouch.

For the leader of the RNI, the conclusions of “The Path of Achievements” will serve to chart the future “Path of the Future”. “Your ideas and proposals, arising from the field, constitute the foundation of upcoming projects, because true development begins with citizens and through their participation. Today, we are moving toward a new stage: the ‘Path of the Future,’ during which we will listen to professionals, experts, those who work daily on the ground and play a central role in the daily lives of citizens”, announces Akhannouch, determined to continue along a path that succeeds. A path that contributes to building an emerging Morocco…
