“Welcome Football, Welcome Fans”: L’ONDA Unveils Its Special CAN 2025 Arrangements

With less than ten days to go before the kick-off of the 2025 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the National Airports Office unveils an institutional spot under the signature “Welcome Football, Welcome Fans” and confirms that all the Kingdom’s airports are fully mobilized to welcome supporters, delegations, and teams under the best conditions.

“The Kingdom’s airports are on the front lines and are set to fully play their role as true gateways to celebrate the 2025 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in collaboration with the local Organizing Committee and CAF,” states ONDA in a communiqué.

Thanks to the human and material investments made for over a year to improve capacities, modernize infrastructure, streamline passenger flows, and upskill teams, Morocco’s airports, in close coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the Royal Gendarmerie, the Customs and Indirect Tax Administration, and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, are ready to meet the demands of a major sporting event that will bring together thousands of fans from all continents.

All airports hosting the competition are implementing an enhanced organization to manage the expected traveler flows.
Orientation areas, multilingual signage, mobilized assistance teams, and continuous operational monitoring will ensure optimal care from the moment of arrival on Moroccan soil.
Thus, the 2025 AFCON offers Morocco an opportunity to demonstrate the efficiency of its air ecosystem and affirm its role as an African hub.
