Theatre: Applications Open for Support for Cultural and Artistic Projects
This initiative covers five categories: “the production and promotion of theatrical works,” “the residency of theatre companies within theatres,” “artistic residencies dedicated to writing, scientific research in theatre, and training workshops,” “the organization of theatre festivals and events in Morocco,” and “participation in theatre festivals and events abroad.”
The Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication – Department of Culture – has announced the launch of a call for applications to benefit from support for cultural and artistic projects in the field of theatre, for the first session of 2026.
In a statement, the ministry specified that this initiative covers five categories: “the production and promotion of theatrical works,” “the residency of theatre companies within theatres,” “artistic residencies dedicated to writing, scientific research in theatre, and training workshops,” “the organization of theatre festivals and events in Morocco,” and “participation in theatre festivals and events abroad.”
Applications must be submitted exclusively online via the dedicated platform for submitting requests. Project holders can download the specifications, the sworn declaration, and consult the user guide for the digital platform (https://daam.minculture.gov.ma), set up by the ministry as part of its efforts to facilitate access to services and improve the quality of administrative action.
The statement notes that applications are open from March 20 to April 15, 2026, until 4:30 p.m.
