ONDA posts historic records and accelerates its major projects towards 2030
The Board of Directors of the National Airports Office (ONDA) approved its 2026–2028 action plan against a backdrop of exceptional results, with 36.3 million passengers handled in 2025 and revenue up by 9%, driven in particular by the momentum of AFCON 2025 and the Kingdom’s growing attractiveness.
The National Airports Office (ONDA) held its Board of Directors meeting this Monday, 25 May, providing an opportunity to review a 2025 performance marked by record achievements and to validate strategic directions for the next three years.
Moroccan airports handled 36.3 million passengers last year, an increase of 11%, with a total of 265,000 aircraft movements. Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport exceeded the milestone of 11 million passengers for the first time, driven in particular by the hosting of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which demonstrated ONDA’s and its institutional partners’ capacity to manage large-scale continental events.
From a financial perspective, the Office reported revenue of 5.848 billion dirhams, up 9% compared to 2024, reflecting the strength of its economic model.
The Board was also informed of progress on major projects included in the “Airports 2030” strategy. At the forefront is the new terminal at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca—the largest investment project in the Office’s history—alongside expansion and redevelopment programmes at the airports of Marrakech-Menara, Agadir Al Massira, Tangier Ibn Battouta, Rabat-Salé, and Tétouan Sania R’mel.
At the close of the meeting, the activity report, the 2025 financial statements, and the 2026–2028 action plan were unanimously approved, confirming the trajectory of an airport network undergoing significant transformation, in line with Morocco’s ambitions ahead of upcoming major international events.
