ONDA: Launch of a Command Center at Mohammed V Airport
It is a supervision center bringing together the services of the Ministry of the Interior, the DGSN, the Royal Gendarmerie, the Customs Administration, the airlines, ground handling agents, the airport operator, as well as the air navigation and air traffic control services.
ONDA has commissioned an Airport Operational Center (APOC) at Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport, operating 24/7.
The infrastructure houses all operational stakeholders, including the Ministry of the Interior, the DGSN, the Royal Gendarmerie, Customs, airlines, and air navigation services.
The APOC manages flight operations, runways, ground movement, baggage flows, and passenger pathways.
It also coordinates security, safety, mobility, parking, and maintenance.
For passengers, it improves flow, reduces wait times, and ensures real-time information.
For airlines, it limits delays and optimizes resources.
This system responds to traffic growth, estimated at over 12% per year.
It strengthens the performance of the Kingdom’s main air hub, contributes to smooth operations during AFCON 2025, and is part of the Airports 2030 strategy.
