Twenty-four olive oils from five regions of Morocco were awarded prizes during the 16th edition of the National Competition for the Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil, held in Meknes.

This event, initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture in partnership with Interprolive, forms part of the Génération Green strategy aimed at enhancing the quality of agricultural products.

The oils were classified into four fruitiness categories, with six prizes awarded in each. The competition brought together 77 producers from five regions, illustrating the steady improvement in quality across the olive oil sector.

Held on the sidelines of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco and chaired by Minister Ahmed El Bouari, the ceremony highlights producers’ excellence and supports the development of the agricultural sector.
