Moroccan Airports: Passenger Traffic Up 7.9% in February

Airports in the Kingdom handled 5.3 million travelers on international flights and 600,867 passengers on domestic flights. Mohammed V Airport, accounting for more than 31% of total traffic, welcomed 1.8 million travelers.

Air traffic in Morocco reached 5.9 million passengers by the end of February 2026, up 7.9%, driven by international travel.

International flights accounted for more than 5.3 million travelers, compared with 600,867 passengers on domestic flights.

Mohammed V Airport alone handled over 31% of traffic, with nearly 1.88 million passengers, an increase of more than 11%.

Most of the Kingdom’s airports recorded growth, notably Béni Mellal, Marrakech-Menara, Agadir, Tangier, Rabat, and Nador.

International traffic increased across all markets, particularly South America, North America, and Africa.

Meanwhile, airport movements rose by 11.65%, with more than 44,500 flights.

Cargo traffic, for its part, jumped by nearly 24%, exceeding 21,000 tons.
