Iranian Attacks: His Majesty the King Expresses the Kingdom’s Full Support for the Gulf Countries

His Majesty King Mohammed VI reaffirmed this Saturday, 28 February 2026, his support and full backing for the Gulf countries that have been targeted by Iranian attacks. The Sovereign reiterated the Kingdom’s support for all legitimate measures that these countries deem appropriate to preserve their security and the peace and tranquillity of their citizens.

Thus, according to a statement from the Royal Cabinet, “His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, had, this Saturday, several telephone calls with His brothers, Their Majesties and Their Highnesses.

These were His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Sovereign of the Kingdom of Bahrain; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Prime Minister; and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

During these calls, His Majesty the King, may God glorify Him, reaffirmed the Kingdom of Morocco’s firm condemnation of the despicable aggressions that targeted the sovereignty of these brotherly States and the security of their territories, as well as His Majesty’s support and full backing for these countries in all legitimate measures they deem appropriate to preserve their security and the peace and tranquillity of their citizens.

Drawing on the deep-rooted fraternal ties and the constant solidarity that bind the Kingdom of Morocco to these brotherly States, His Majesty the King stressed that the security and stability of the Arab Gulf countries are an integral part of the security and stability of the Kingdom of Morocco, and that any infringement of their security constitutes a serious and unacceptable aggression and a direct threat to the stability of the region.”
