The Ministry of Digital Transition and Orange Morocco have signed an agreement to develop artificial intelligence in Morocco.

This partnership is part of the Maroc Digital 2030 strategy and the “AI Made in Morocco” roadmap.

The objective is to test and deploy AI solutions, notably in digital administration.

AI could also be used in sectors such as health, education, agriculture, and public services.

Orange will provide its expertise, its infrastructure, and its training programs.

Several pilot projects have already been identified and will be launched in the coming months.

The agreement also supports the rollout of the network of Jazari Institutes, dedicated to innovation and artificial intelligence. Five institutes are already operational, specializing notably in smart cities, education, industry, and energy.

The ambition is to strengthen Morocco’s digital sovereignty and accelerate AI adoption nationwide.
