Government Council: Four New Appointments to Senior Positions
The Government Council approved several appointments to positions of responsibility, notably within the High Commission for Planning and the ministries of Higher Education, Communication, and National Education.
The Government Council, meeting on Thursday under the chairmanship of Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, approved proposals for appointments to senior positions, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
At the High Commission for Planning, Othmane Kettani was appointed Director of the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics, according to a statement from the Ministry Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, the government’s spokesperson.
With regard to the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, El Mustapha El Yabouri was appointed Inspector General. At the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication — Communication Department, Abdessamad Moutia was appointed Director of the Higher Institute of Audiovisual and Cinema Professions.
The Council also approved, within the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, the appointment of Kenza Abourmane as Director of School Life Organization, Extracurricular Activities, and School and Vocational Guidance, the same source adds.
