Helios Investment Partners, a private investment fund dedicated to Africa, and Fipar-Holding, a subsidiary of CDG Invest, announce the creation of 3MDC, a new integrated digital infrastructure platform aimed at accelerating Morocco’s digital transformation and strengthening its positioning as a regional technology hub.

The new platform brings together Maroc Datacenter (MDC), Munisys and Medasys, three leading Moroccan players in cloud, data, cybersecurity and digital services, according to a press release. This consolidation gives rise to a unique, fully integrated hybrid-cloud platform serving businesses and the public sector in Morocco and Southern Europe, the same source continues.

The platform relies on the rapid growth of MDC’s Tier III carrier-neutral datacenter as well as on Munisys’ long-standing expertise in on-premises cloud, cybersecurity, integration services and digital solutions. Medasys contributes essential complementary technological capabilities and an in-depth knowledge of the Moroccan IT landscape.

Thanks to strategic partnerships with several global technology leaders, the platform will offer advanced, secure and sovereign digital solutions, adapted to the evolving needs of organizations.

The company 3MDC will be jointly owned by Helios IV (44%), Fipar-Holding (40%), and the founders and management teams (16%). This balanced shareholding structure reflects strong alignment between international investment expertise and national institutional support, while ensuring strengthened local governance.

It should be noted that Helios has a solid track record in developing large-scale digital infrastructure projects in Africa. The partnership with Fipar supports Morocco’s ambition to build critical technological capabilities on its territory, combining local knowledge, sector expertise and long-term vision, the press release concludes.
