Dutton Ranch Sets Streaming Record
The “Dutton Ranch” spinoff from “Yellowstone” has achieved a historic launch on Paramount+, garnering 12.9 million views in its first week. The series continues the story of Beth and Rip as they face new challenges in South Texas.
“Dutton Ranch,” a spinoff of “Yellowstone,” has achieved significant success on Paramount+, setting a record for the biggest series launch in the platform’s history with 12.9 million views for its first two episodes within a week of their release on May 15. This performance surpassed the previous record of 8.8 million views for “Mobland.” In addition to its streaming success, the episodes garnered an average of 2.9 million total viewers when aired as a two-episode event on the linear Paramount+ network. The series, created by Chad Feehan and produced by a team that includes Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, follows characters Beth and Rip as they navigate their new life in South Texas after the events of the “Yellowstone” finale. The first season features a talented cast, including Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, among others, and has seen previous viewership successes with other Sheridan projects. While Feehan will not return for Season 2, the series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, highlighting its strong production backing.
