Netflix has confirmed that Emily in Paris will conclude with its sixth season, which is currently in production and is intended as the final chapter in the series’ run.

The announcement follows the show’s renewal earlier in 2026, and marks a planned ending rather than an abrupt cancellation. Production has already begun, with filming underway in Greece, signalling a shift beyond the show’s central Paris setting while preparing to bring the narrative to a close.

The final season is framed as a culmination of the story built over five previous instalments, bringing resolution to the personal and professional journeys of Emily Cooper, the American marketing executive whose move to Paris anchored the series. Lead actor Lily Collins has indicated that the concluding episodes are designed to preserve the tone and appeal of the show while delivering a definitive ending to Emily’s trajectory.

Created by Darren Star, the series has been one of Netflix’s consistent global successes, maintaining a strong presence on the platform’s English-language television charts and reaching top rankings in numerous countries. Its blend of romance, fashion, and aspirational European settings has contributed to its international popularity, which underpins the decision to craft a deliberate final season.

The main ensemble cast will return for this concluding instalment, produced by Paramount Television Studios alongside Darren Star Productions and Jax Media, with Star continuing in his role as writer and executive producer.
