Talbi Alami: “The Political New Term Will Be Thorny”
As an experienced politician, the member of the RNI’s political bureau is aware that the party will have to endure attacks from all sides during this final year of the Akhannouch government’s mandate.
Among the many speakers who took the podium at the RNI’s meeting in Marrakech was, of course, Rachid Talbi Alami. The eminent member of the political bureau was clear-sighted, stating: “We cannot deny that some things are still lacking. But we are setting priorities. Wherever he lives, a Moroccan citizen must first have access to Education. He must also have access to healthcare and work.”
The President of the House of Representatives also stated that he was proud of and reassured by the achievements of the governing coalition. “We have kept our commitments despite all the difficulties,” he affirmed.
The seasoned politician went on to explain that the political new term would be thorny: “We risk facing multiple attacks, but they will be mere bubbles. Our detractors find sensational headlines when they wake up, which are forgotten by the next day.” Nevertheless, he remains confident about the future. “We received 2.2 million votes in 2021. We hope and aspire for Moroccans to renew their confidence in us to continue our programs.”
