All-around animation of the public debate

The Organization of RNI lawyers was born within the framework of a global organizational dynamic. In 2017, the leadership of the Colombe decided to create a parallel dedicated organization.

In its birth certificate, the organization, led by Abdessadek Maâtallah, undertakes to conduct reflections, backed by proposals, on everything related to political, economic, social, cultural, and environmental rights, as well as issues related to freedoms and legislation.

The Organization also participates in the preparation of programs and legal responses on all subjects related to files that are the subject of public debates, through organizing training workshops, conferences, and coordinating with actors and other organizations of modernist and democratic orientation both nationally and internationally, within the framework of “human rights diplomacy.”

Allal El Basraoui – USFP

From heritage to the quest for a new start

Here is a party that has counted many leading figures throughout its history. Moreover, they had led the Rose party. From Abderrahim Bouabid to Abderrahman El Youssoufi, passing through Mohamed El Yazghi.

And the current first secretary of the USFP, Driss Lachgar, is also from the profession. However, in this case, one cannot speak of a parallel organization.

The party is content with the qualifier “sector,” like all the others, except for the youth and women who have formed parallel organizations. But beyond the “historical heritage,” bequeathed by the former leading figures, the unionist lawyers’ sector is no longer what it was.

Moreover, the very last national congress, held in November 2023, was supposed, according to the USFP black robes, to be “a new start to take up the torch” of a sector living “in the shadow of historical figures.” It should also be noted that at the end of this grand meeting, the congressmen renewed Allal El Basraoui as national coordinator.

An “open association” on standby

At the Lamp party, there are no longer the grand speeches that marked the birth of the “Lawyers for Justice and Development” Association, whose initiators boasted of being the “first association open to all lawyers without exclusivity, and that one did not have to be a PJD cardholder to join.” The approach is known: strengthen the ranks at all costs!

One of the recent feats of this association, led by Abdelilah Laalou, dates back to 2023, when it publicly issued its “recommendations” regarding the draft law on civil procedure.

In December of the same year, the association announced the creation of a “monitoring commission” for developments related to the reform of the Family Code. Follow the gaze!

In the structuring phase

The Popular Movement, like all other political formations, has always counted black robes among its ranks, but it was necessary to wait for the election of Mohamed Ouzzine at its head to witness the establishment of the Organization of Haraki lawyers.

This was in December 2023. “Elected” by the constitutive congress, El Houssine Raji leads this organization still in the structuring phase.

For the Épi formation, it is “a laboratory” that has “a consultative role with the party leadership,” notably regarding all questions related to debates on laws and legislation in general.

Loubna Srhiri – PPS

In a state of exhaustion!

There was a time when the lawyers of the Book party had many leaders who were involved in all political debates. But it seems they have entered a period of “exhaustion.”

Nevertheless, the lawyers’ sector within the party of Ali Yata’s heirs, whose national coordination is ensured by Loubna Srhiri, is well present in the debate on the reform of the judicial system.
