World Football Summit: The Global Sports Elite Gather at UM6P Rabat

The World Football Summit is taking place at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Rabat on April 9-10.

This edition, themed «Cultivating Africa’s Future World Cup Legacy»,brings together over 1,000 participants from 47 countries.

Government officials, economic experts, sports representatives, and private stakeholders are exchanging ideas on the future of sports, artificial intelligence, technology, investment, and sustainable development of sports infrastructure in Africa.

The event aligns with preparations for Morocco, Spain, and Portugal co-hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

It highlights Morocco’s potential through sports, particularly in terms of infrastructure, innovation, and inspiring African youth.

The summit was inaugurated with the presence of several Moroccan officials, including the Ministers of Higher Education and National Education and Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.

Organized in partnership with Evosport (UM6P’s sports subsidiary) and FRMF, WFS Rabat 2025 combines academic reflection with concrete actions to build a strong sporting future for Africa.
