The Government is Introducing Exceptional Aid for Transport Professionals
Through this aid, the government aims to contain the impact of rising fuel prices on the domestic market, in order to preserve citizens’ purchasing power, ensure the normal and regular supply of markets, and maintain the continuity of logistics chains.
Faced with the surge in oil prices on international markets and its impact on fuel prices at the national level, the government is implementing a new exceptional aid operation dedicated to professionals in the freight and passenger transport sector, similar to the operation that was put in place in March 2022.
Through this direct and exceptional aid, aimed at the professionals concerned, the government seeks to contain the effect of rising fuel prices on the domestic market, in order to preserve citizens’ purchasing power, ensure the normal and regular supply of markets and the continuity of logistics chains, as well as maintain citizens’ mobility and transport services.
Transport professionals concerned will be able, starting Friday, March 20, to register on the platform mouakaba.transport.gov.ma dedicated to this purpose, which will allow them to submit their applications according to their categories and track them electronically, similar to the previous operation.
It should be noted that the categories benefiting from this exceptional government aid include, in particular, freight transport, private public passenger transport, small taxis, large taxis, mixed transport, passenger coaches, and tourist transport.
