Morocco-France: Army Corps General Mohammed Berrid awarded the Commander insignia of the Legion of Honour
This decoration was presented, on behalf of the President of the French Republic, by General of the Air Force Fabien Mandon, Chief of the French Defense Staff (CEMA), during an official ceremony attended by high-ranking civilian and military officials.
On Wednesday, Army Corps General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and Commander of the Southern Zone, received the insignia of Commander of the Legion of Honour on the sidelines of the 23rd meeting of the Moroccan-French Joint Military Commission, held on December 9th and 10th in Paris. This meeting was attended, by Royal High Instructions, by a high-level Moroccan delegation led by the Inspector General of the FAR.

On the same occasion, Major General Dr. Mohamed Abbar, Inspector of the Military Health Service of the FAR, and Air Division General Fouad Moumen, Chief of the 4th Bureau of the General Staff of the FAR, were decorated with the Medal of the National Order of Merit (Officer Grade).
These decorations are in recognition of the efforts made to develop bilateral military relations, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
