Artworks: Tangier Hosts a Public Auction of Mr C
On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the Minzah Hotel in Tangier will host a public auction organized by the Mazard and Art house, in collaboration with Maître Éric Pillon. On the agenda: 462 lots from the Collection of Mr C, gathering paintings, sculptures, furniture, porcelains, silverware, and oriental pieces.
The auction house Mazard and Art, in collaboration with Maître Eric Pillon, Auctioneer, announces a public auction to be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM, at the Minzah Hotel in Tangier.
This auction will highlight the Collection of Mr C, a unique set gathered over the years that reflects the refinement of Tangier and European lifestyle art.
Among the 462 lots offered, enthusiasts and collectors will be able to discover: Paintings and engravings (French, Spanish, Brazilian, and Orientalist schools), Bronzes and sculptures (Moreau, Coinchon, Bari, Keletÿ, etc.), Furniture and art objects (Louis XVI dressers, consoles, armchairs, Chippendale display cabinets…), Fans and porcelains (Staffordshire, Saxony, Imari, Limoges, Vista Alegre, Rosenthal…), Crystal and silverware (Daum, Lalique, Baccarat, Christofle…), and Oriental pieces (silver objects, Chinese and Japanese porcelains, Qing and Edo paintings, Buddhist sculptures).
The estimates cover a wide range, allowing both young collectors and seasoned connoisseurs to find their favorite pieces.
The items will be displayed at the COFICOM Building (Main entrance, 9 Place des Nations – Tangier), on Wednesday, September 10, Thursday, September 11, and Friday, September 12, from 11 AM to 6 PM.
