Nasser Seddiqi, New CEO of the Casablanca Stock Exchange

He will take up his duties on January 19, 2026. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial regulation, asset management, and market governance, acquired within the AMMC and international institutions.

The Board of Directors of the Casablanca Stock Exchange unanimously appointed Nasser Seddiqi as Chief Executive Officer, in accordance with the legal and statutory provisions.
He will assume his duties on January 19, 2026, according to a statement from the Exchange.

Nasser Seddiqi has more than 25 years of experience in financial regulation, asset management, and market governance, acquired within the AMMC and international institutions, the same source specifies.
His expertise will be an asset in continuing the strategic development of the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
The Board expresses its confidence in him and wishes him every success in the exercise of his new functions.

Before his appointment, Seddiqi held the position of Director of the Business Division at the AMMC, in charge of market supervision activities, asset management, and issuers. He also contributed to steering major initiatives such as sustainable finance and the futures market.
Former President of the Futures Market Coordination Body (2022–2025), Seddiqi was also involved in several international bodies (IOSCO, IFREFI…).
He began his career in Paris at an international audit firm, where he carried out audit and consulting assignments for several years.
After several international experiences, notably in the banking sector and asset management, he joined the AMMC in 2009, where he successively held several positions of responsibility before being appointed Director of the Business Division.
Nasser Seddiqi holds the French State Chartered Accountant qualification and several international certifications related to the development of capital markets and financial regulation, including “The Global Certificate Program for Regulators of Securities Markets” delivered by Harvard Law School in partnership with IOSCO.
