BCG X Launches AI Science Institute to Revolutionize Global Scientific Research

BCG X has launched the AI Science Institute, aimed at accelerating global scientific research through artificial intelligence. This initiative will harness the expertise of over 3,000 specialists, including 200 PhD holders, to significantly shorten research and development cycles from years to mere months or weeks. The AI Science Institute will focus on high-tech scientific areas such as quantum computing, advanced modeling, bioinformatics, and machine learning applied to fundamental research. 

Hamid Maher, Head of BCG X Africa, highlighted Morocco’s emerging status as a leading technological hub in the EMESA region, noting, “With the AI Science Institute, we have the opportunity to amplify this momentum by leveraging artificial intelligence to tackle the major challenges of our era, starting with climate, health, and energy.” The institute aims to foster collaborations with top universities, major industrial groups, and innovation ecosystems to address pressing global challenges. 

The Digital Center in Casablanca, the largest BCG X hub in the EMESA region, plays a crucial role in developing impactful technological solutions. BCG X combines sector expertise with advanced technological skills to innovate at scale, creating bold and disruptive products and services for the future.
