As part of the national drive to strengthen the competitiveness and growth of Moroccan very small, small, and medium-sized enterprises (TPMEs), the Casablanca Stock Exchange and the National Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (Maroc PME) signed a framework agreement for a strategic partnership.

This agreement, signed on Wednesday, 29 April 2026, by Nasser Seddiqi, Chief Executive Officer of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, and Anouar Alaoui Ismaili, Chief Executive Officer of Maroc PME, aims to establish a framework for cooperation to support the structuring, resilience, competitiveness, and growth of TPMEs, by preparing them to access financing through the stock market.

This partnership is part of efforts to strengthen the capacities of TPMEs so as to make them a key lever of national competitiveness. It builds on the natural complementarity between the Casablanca Stock Exchange’s commitment to supporting companies in their access to the capital market and the schemes implemented by Maroc PME, notably the TPME Pact 2025–2030.

Accordingly, the objectives of this partnership are structured around three main pillars.
First, the establishment of a joint referral and matchmaking mechanism, ensuring smoother flows between the programmes of the two institutions, in order to identify high‑potential companies and direct them towards the most appropriate pathways.

Second, capacity building through the organisation of joint training and skills‑enhancement initiatives focusing on stock‑market eligibility criteria as well as governance and transparency requirements.

Third, joint promotion and facilitation through the co‑organisation of events, regional meetings, and awareness‑raising actions to highlight the financing opportunities offered by the capital market and the support mechanisms of the TPME Pact.

On this occasion, Mr Nasser Seddiqi, Chief Executive Officer of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, emphasised:
“The Casablanca Stock Exchange reaffirms its role as a long‑term financing lever serving the real economy. The agreement concluded with Maroc PME will enable us to continue identifying and supporting the most promising companies, by preparing them as effectively as possible for the requirements of the stock market and thereby contributing to the emergence of genuine national champions.”

For his part, Mr Anouar Alaoui Ismaili, Chief Executive Officer of Maroc PME, stated:
“The TPME Pact marks a paradigm shift on several levels. It establishes a territorially based support approach, open to all sectors and covering the entire business life cycle. Its implementation relies on reinforced partnerships, through the mobilisation of several stakeholders working alongside Maroc PME. It is within this framework that several agreements have been signed with strategic partners, including the Casablanca Stock Exchange, in order to effectively support the implementation of this new dynamic.”

This agreement symbolises the shared determination of the two institutions to pool their expertise, networks, and support mechanisms in the service of a more integrated, more coherent, and more effective business‑support ecosystem, thereby contributing to Morocco’s economic development.
