MRE: Launch of a Digital Platform in 2026 to Facilitate Investment in Morocco
The Ministry of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies has just launched an open international tender for the design, development and implementation of a digital platform, intended, among other things, to facilitate and support investment in the Kingdom by Moroccans residing abroad.
Moroccans residing abroad (MRE) constitute a driving force for the economic and social development of the Kingdom. Each year, the Moroccan diaspora transfers tens of billions of dirhams to Morocco.
With the aim of further involving MREs in the economic growth of their country of origin, the Ministry of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies has just launched an open international tender for the design, development and implementation of a digital platform, intended, among other things, to facilitate and support investment in the Kingdom by Moroccans residing abroad.
The tender (A.O.) provides several crucial pieces of information, including the estimated cost of services at over 3.2 million dirhams (TTC) and the bid opening date, set for February 26th.
The scope of work refers to four main missions which can be summarized as follows: preliminary scoping, IT architecture design, deployment, and knowledge transfer.
Regarding the service execution period of 100 days, it is important to note that it encompasses the four missions (preliminary scoping, IT architecture design, deployment, and knowledge transfer).
Ultimately, given the service execution period, the platform could be operational this year.
