Morocco–South Korea: Negotiations under way for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement

South Korea and Morocco have agreed to work closely toward the swift launch of negotiations for a bilateral Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

The South Korean Minister of Trade, Yeo Han‑koo, and his Moroccan counterpart Omar Hejira held a virtual meeting to explore ways of expanding economic cooperation and launching negotiations for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), according to South Korea’s Yonhap news agency.

According to the same source, both sides agreed to soon initiate negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which is intended to serve as a catalyst for bilateral economic cooperation.

On this occasion, Yeo Han‑koo stated that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between South Korea and Morocco will help South Korean companies diversify their activities and expand their commercial reach.
