His Majesty King Mohammed VI appoints the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Ulema and decorates Mohamed Yessef

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, may God assist him, received on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, corresponding to 26 Shawwal 1447 AH, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, Mr. Mohamed Yessef, former Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Ulema, whom the Sovereign awarded the Order of the Throne (Grand Officer), in recognition of the commendable services he has rendered to his Religion, his Homeland, and his King, through the various missions and responsibilities he has undertaken.

Subsequently, His Majesty the King, Commander of the Faithful, may God preserve him, received Mr. El Yazid Er-Radi, whom the Sovereign appointed as Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Ulema.

On this occasion, His Majesty the King, Commander of the Faithful, may God glorify him, gave his High Instructions to Mr. Er-Radi so that the Council may carry out its missions in promoting the Holy Muslim religion, imbued with the values of moderation and the middle path, and in preserving the religious constants of the Kingdom.
