The direct social assistance program currently benefits 3.9 million households, compared to 2.6 million in January 2024, reflecting a significant expansion of the system.
The Minister specified that 62% of beneficiaries receive aid intended for protection against childhood-related risks, while one third receive lump-sum assistance.
Rejected applications are primarily due to changes in the household’s or its members’ circumstances.
Nadia Fettah emphasized that this program is a strategic Royal initiative, implemented within an institutional, legal, and transparent framework based on the Unified Social Registry.
