Hospitality: Rabat Accelerates Its Transformation Ahead of AFCON 2025
The city’s hoteliers are fully mobilized to meet the expectations of an event of such magnitude. A skills-strengthening program has just been launched.
Rabat is speeding up its preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations by launching a training program for hospitality professionals.
The capital will host more than a third of the group-stage matches, as well as several key fixtures, all the way up to the final, scheduled for January 18 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
Hotel teams are strengthening their skills to provide exemplary service, with training focused on reception, security, housekeeping, and hygiene.
This program, supported by the Regional Tourism Council (CRT), the Regional Association of Hospitality Industry (ARIH), and the regional authorities (wilaya), aims to prepare hotels for the demands of an international event.
Officials state that this mobilization is essential to guarantee high-quality services for delegations, supporters, and visitors, and to showcase Rabat’s ability to shine during an event of this scale.
