Marrakesh-Safi: 38.5 billion MAD of investments approved in 3 months

The Regional Investment Center (CRI) of Marrakesh-Safi announces exceptional results for the first quarter of 2025.

In 3 months, 231 projects were approved, up 18% compared to the same period in 2024.

In value, these projects total 38.5 billion MAD, a growth of 51%.

They are expected to generate more than 11,100 jobs, an increase of 135%.

The industrial sector confirms its leading role with 8.3 billion dirhams invested and nearly 6,000 jobs created.

Tourism remains a pillar of the region’s attractiveness, with 116 projects.

These figures continue the trend observed in 2024.

Last year, 798 projects were approved, for an amount of 96.1 billion MAD.

An increasing number of structuring projects are strengthening the region’s hospitality offer.

This first quarter was marked by the launch of the Marrakesh Industrial Park.
