Maritime fisheries: Morocco and Russia strengthen their partnership
The Government Council took note, on Thursday in Rabat, of a cooperation agreement in the maritime fisheries sector concluded between Morocco and Russia, signed on 17 October 2025 in Moscow.
The Government Council, meeting on Thursday in Rabat, was informed of the conclusion of a cooperation agreement in the maritime fisheries sector between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the Russian Federation. The text had been signed on 17 October 2025 in Moscow.
At the end of the Council, the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament and government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, stated during a press briefing that the Council had also taken note of draft law No. 39.26 approving the said agreement.
Both texts were presented by the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, acting on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, Mustapha Baitas added.
