Banque Centrale Populaire Appoints a New Managing Director in Charge of Risks
The new Managing Director, Adil Rzal, has more than 17 years of experience within the Group, with diversified expertise ranging from private equity and banking operations to leasing.
The Board of Directors of Banque Centrale Populaire, meeting on December 17, 2025, under the chairmanship of Naziha Belkeziz, appointed Adil Rzal as Group Managing Director in charge of Risks.
Until then, he held the position of Chairman of the Management Board of Banque Populaire of Rabat-Kénitra.
Aged 50, Adil Rzal has more than 17 years of experience within the Group, with diversified expertise spanning private equity, banking operations, and leasing. He holds an engineering degree from École Centrale de Paris, according to a statement from the bank.
This appointment is part of the Group’s intention to strengthen its governance and risk management framework in a context of accelerated transformation of the banking sector and increasing regulatory requirements, the statement concludes.
