Morocco and the United Kingdom Decide to Embark on a New Era of Global and Authentic Strategic Partnership

This commitment was formalized by the signing of a joint communiqué in Rabat, during a meeting between Nasser Bourita and David Lammy.

This partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in several key areas, notably security, defense, trade, investments,

water, climate, energy transition, health,

education, scientific research, human rights, as well as cultural and sports exchanges.

The two countries also commit to acting together to address regional and global challenges, respecting the principles of peace, security, and tolerance.

This rapprochement is based on shared values, converging interests, and longstanding diplomatic relations dating back more than 800 years.
