The ONCF Expects a Record Revenue in 2025

The National Office of Railways (ONCF) is showcasing its ambitions for this year. It aims for a historic turnover exceeding 5 billion DH, a 6% increase from 2024.

The ONCF forecasts a 6% rise in its turnover in 2025, surpassing 5 billion MAD. The goal is to reach 57 million passengers (+4%) and 21 million tonnes of goods.

The year 2024 ended with exceptional growth for the ONCF, according to its CEO, Mohamed Rabie Khlie. In 2024, the ONCF transported 55 million passengers (+4%) and 20 million tonnes of goods (+17%).

 

Al Bouraq confirms its attractiveness, with over 5.5 million passengers transported, a +5% compared to 2023. The 2024 turnover is expected to exceed 4.7 billion MAD (+9%), with an EBITDA of 1.8 billion MAD (+9%).

The office is preparing major projects for 2030: extending the high-speed line to Marrakech, RER in regions, new trains, and stations. These initiatives support sustainable mobility and anticipate the 2030 World Cup.
