As part of the strategy to promote industrial investment and enhance economic land value in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, the Rabat Region Emergence Society (RRE) is planning to create an economic activity zone on approximately 10 hectares of land located in the commune of Ameur, in the Salé prefecture.

This project aims to respond to the increasing demand for industrial land, attract investors, and strengthen the local economic fabric by providing modern and modular infrastructure.

The RRE has launched an architectural competition for the design and supervision of the works for this ZAE. The provisional budget for the construction and development work is 180 million dirhams (excluding taxes).

According to the architectural competition program, the ZAE will consist of modular hangars intended for light industries, storage, and logistics.

In parallel, the RRE has also launched a consultation for the realization of urban planning, architectural studies, and supervision of the development work for an industrial zone in the commune of Ameur.

The development of this industrial zone is intended to meet the growing demand from investors, particularly Stellantis suppliers, linked to the increase in production capacity at the Kénitra platform.

It also aims to strengthen the reception capacities of the Bouknadel industrial pole, particularly in the existing ZAI at Sidi Bouknadel (29 ha, with a 70% allocation rate), which has generated nearly 5,000 jobs and is expected to reach 11,000 jobs by 2026.

The maximum estimated cost for the construction and development work is 29 million dirhams (excluding taxes).
