The program for reducing spatial and social disparities in rural areas (2017-2023) has reached a progress rate of 75%. 8,170 projects out of a total of 10,939 have been completed to date. They mainly concern the upgrading of rural roads and tracks, the education sector, health, electrification, and drinking water supply.

The program is endowed with a budget of 50 billion dirhams.
