Nostalgia Lovers Festival: Casablanca goes retro
This festival promises a total immersion into the vibrant atmosphere of the 80s and 90s, blending iconic music, immersive decorations, and a festive ambiance.

According to an official press release, the Casablanca Velodrome will transform from July 3 to 5 into a real time machine to host the Nostalgia Lovers Festival, a major event dedicated to retro enthusiasts.
The festival stage will welcome iconic artists. On Thursday, July 3, Thomas Anders of Modern Talking, Londonbeat, Shola Ama, Boney M Xperience, Rozalla, Billy Crawford, 3T, Whigfield, and Jeny Preston will kick off the festivities. On Friday, July 4, Lou Bega, Layzee (Mr. President), Las Ketchup, Double You, Tania Evans (original voice of Mr. Vain), Jenny from Ace of Base, Maxx, Bellini, Kelly O (ex-Cappella), and La Cassette DJs will ignite the dancefloor. Finally, Saturday, July 5 will close with a bang featuring Salomé de Bahia, Gibson Brothers, Montell Jordan, C+C Music Factory, Reel 2 Real, Tina the Rock Show Experience, ATC, and La Movida Ibiza.
Out of time
“The Velodrome will metamorphose into a giant open-air nightclub, with neon lights, disco balls, an XXL dancefloor, vintage arcades, and 90’s gaming zones,” it is specified. Instagrammable decorations, visual performances, and interactive installations will complete the experience, alongside food courts, themed bars, and chill-out areas. Organizers invite festival-goers to adopt retro looks to fully dive into the atmosphere.
The festival will continue on Sunday, July 6 with a unique event: the Nostalgia Brunch, called “Olé Nostalgia – the hottest brunch of the summer.” From 2 pm, the Velodrome will turn into a retro-Andalusian fair, mixing chic brunch vibes with Latin sounds featuring Tito Puente Jr, contemporary flamenco by Gipsy Five, and the voice of Susana Sanchez Jimenez.
“The Nostalgia Brunch is an unprecedented format, a sensory, musical, and festive experience to end the festival with a big smile and a fan in hand,” highlights the event organizer, Othman Benabdeljelil. Participants are encouraged to add a retro-Andalusian touch to their outfit.
More details will be revealed soon, but one thing is already certain: the Nostalgia Lovers Festival promises to be the flagship event of summer 2025 in Casablanca.
