Benslimane: A Major Sanitation Project Around the Future Hassan II Grand Stadium

The province of Benslimane is preparing to host a major project with the launch of sanitation works around the future Hassan II Grand Stadium.

The Casablanca-Settat Regional Multiservices Company (SRM-CS) has just launched a tender for the construction of infrastructure along the R313 road, as part of its program to strengthen sanitation networks in the Casablanca-Settat region.

Lot 2 of the contract, which concerns the construction of crossing galleries for two hills and access wells over a length of 1,885 meters, is estimated at over 73 million dirhams, for a works duration of 14 months. The project includes a complete system for managing wastewater and stormwater. Wastewater from the stadium and the watersheds along the R313 road will be directed to a collector connected to the SP8 pumping station of the Mansouria transfer system.

Stormwater, on the other hand, will be discharged into the Nfifikh River, while a specific pipeline will ensure the irrigation of the stadium’s green spaces from the Mansouria wastewater treatment plant. For the P3304 road, wastewater and stormwater will be channeled to the Mansouria transfer system and the Ariman River.

Modernizing Local Infrastructure

The project is divided into five lots, covering the R313 and P3304 roads, involving the laying of collectors of various diameters, pressure pipelines, and pipe jacking crossings. This strategic worksite represents a significant investment for the region and will contribute to modernizing local infrastructure while preparing the environment around the future stadium to host major sporting events.

With this program, SRM-CS confirms its commitment to the quality of sanitation networks and the safety of residents, while laying the foundations for sustainable and structured development in the province of Benslimane.

As a reminder, the opening of bids for lot 2, “Sanitation along the R313 road – Gallery works, including access wells,” is scheduled for January 5, 2026.

Logistical Strengthening for SRM-CS: Trucks, Pick-ups, and Specialized Equipment

The Casablanca-Settat Regional Multiservices Company (SRM-CS) is strengthening its logistical capabilities with several strategic acquisitions of vehicles and equipment. In the field of crane trucks and dump trucks, lot 1 covers 16-ton crane trucks, with and without a bucket lift, as well as 16-ton dump trucks for a budget of 6.66 million dirhams, while lot 2 concerns exclusively 16-ton crane trucks for 6.96 million dirhams. These vehicles will effectively support on-site construction and maintenance operations.

The fleet of 4×4 pick-up vehicles is also being strengthened, with three distinct lots equipped with complete towing systems. Lots 1 and 2 are each valued at 3.3 million dirhams, and lot 3 at 1.98 million dirhams. These vehicles will ensure mobility and responsiveness for SRM-CS teams throughout the region.

For work at height, hydraulic bucket trucks are the subject of three lots: lot 1 includes 22-meter and 16-meter bucket trucks for 7.56 million dirhams, lot 2 includes 16-meter bucket trucks for 5.76 million dirhams, and lot 3 also includes 16-meter bucket trucks for 6.48 million dirhams. This equipment will guarantee safe and efficient interventions on aerial infrastructure.

Finally, the combined hydro-jetting and vacuum trucks, essential for maintaining sanitation networks, are provided in three major lots: lots 1 and 2 are each estimated at 24.36 million dirhams, while lot 3 amounts to 24.12 million dirhams. Thanks to these acquisitions, SRM-CS is consolidating its capacity to maintain and modernize its infrastructure, while ensuring quality service for the residents of the Casablanca-Settat region.
