Chanting and reciting the Quran, theatrical performances, musical concerts, or evenings of Samaâ and Madih, Ramadan rhymes with cultural and spiritual activities everywhere in Morocco.

For example, Casablanca Events & Animations, in collaboration with the City of Casablanca, organizes a competition of chanting, Quran recitation, and Samaâ. This competition is currently taking place at the Administrative and Cultural Complex of the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs.

Plays inspired by Moroccan heritage will be performed in the cultural centers of El Fida, Hay Hassani, Ben M’sick, and Maârif until March 27.

The French Institute of Morocco is also very active during Ramadan with the 19th edition of Ramadan Nights, under the sign of Mediterranean confluences. This iconic musical event will bring together artists from diverse horizons to offer moments of sharing and discovery through enchanting concerts, across the entire Kingdom.

The public will be able to discover many musical groups that blend diverse influences, including Ahaddaf Project in Kénitra, Casablanca, Tangier, Tetouan, and Oujda, as well as the Rassegna Company in Fez, Meknes, Rabat, and Essaouira.

The Night of the Orient will stop in El Jadida, Agadir, and Marrakech, while Oussama Soultane will offer an unplugged concert in Kénitra. In Tetouan, Firdaouss El Bekkari will present a Hadra performance, and in Meknes, the public will vibrate to the rhythm of La Taïfa Issawia du Rkeb Filali Al-Assil.

The Mandinka sounds of Mbemba Diebaté & Racines Fola will resonate in El Jadida and Casablanca, while Khalid Sberhoum will perform in Agadir. Finally, the group Ouled El Bled will animate the evenings of Oujda, Casablanca, and Rabat, promising intense and enchanting musical moments.

Similarly, evenings dedicated to Samaâ and Madih, with artists like Saad El Kouhen and Ali El Madydy, will enrich Ramadan evenings.

Finally, for those seeking creativity, workshops on calligraphy, pottery, and painting will take place every weekend, in collaboration with the Casablanca School of Fine Arts (ESBAC), adding a touch of art and expression to this spiritual month.
