DigiSchool 2025 : 36,000 students ready to be trained in new technologies
The initiative plans to train 1,800 teachers in the use of emerging technologies, in order to provide them with the necessary skills to integrate these tools into teaching.

The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, in partnership with Huawei Morocco, launched the DigiSchool 2025 program in Rabat on Tuesday, aiming to strengthen the integration of digital technologies into education.
Following the success of its first phase in 2024, which enabled the training of several hundred teachers and students in advanced digital tools, the program intends to accelerate this dynamic and expand its impact through this new edition, according to a joint statement from the two partners.
The initiative plans to train 1,800 teachers in the use of emerging technologies, in order to provide them with the necessary skills to integrate these tools into teaching.
In parallel, 36,000 students will participate directly in DigiSchool clubs in 248 schools across the twelve regions of the Kingdom, the same source emphasizes, adding that these clubs will offer students an introduction to emerging technologies, such as coding, robotics, and augmented reality, as well as soft skills.
In addition to these trainings, several competitive events will be organized throughout the year to encourage participant engagement and reward innovation. These events include technological fairs, hackathons, and bootcamps, which will be key stages of the program.
Their objectives are to stimulate the creativity of participants, encourage inter-school collaboration, and reward the most accomplished projects by offering them increased visibility and support for their future development.
On this occasion, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Mohamed Saad Berrada, emphasized that this project contributes to achieving Morocco’s ambitious goals in education and digital inclusion for all.
This project allows for the development of teachers’ skills in the digital field, while strengthening equal access to modern technologies for students in educational institutions, which stimulates their innovative spirit and digital skills, the minister specified in the statement.
Mr. Berrada also indicated that this program is perfectly aligned with the objectives and commitments of the 2022-2026 roadmap “For a quality public school for all,” particularly in its section related to the development of information and communication technology uses in education.
For his part, the General Manager of Huawei Morocco, David Li, highlighted the company’s ongoing commitment to collaboration and innovation.
The launch of DigiSchool 2025, resulting from the convergence of our partners’ visions, emphasizes the importance of strengthening digital skills and consolidating public-private partnerships, he added, noting that the latter represents an essential lever for dynamizing a resilient digital ecosystem for quality and inclusive digital education.
Deployed in several phases, DigiSchool 2025 will begin with an initial workshop for teachers and students, followed by remote support for the clubs.
The organizers plan a progressive scaling up of the program, aligned with efforts to modernize Morocco’s educational system. The project thus aims to prepare a generation of students and teachers capable of evolving in an increasingly digitalized environment.
Relying on its technological expertise, Huawei Morocco reaffirms its commitment to training and excellence, pursuing its strategy of investing in local skill development and supporting public policies in education.
By focusing on an inclusive approach and supporting teachers and students, the program aims to foster the emergence of an innovative educational ecosystem to address the challenges of digital education tomorrow.
