New artist Chappell Roan was awarded Best New Artist, while Doechii’s “Alligator Bites Never Heal” won Best Rap Album, and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet” took home Best Pop Vocal Album. The ceremony included memorable performances from Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, and a surprise appearance by The Weeknd. The awards highlighted both the contributions of established artists and the emergence of new talent, emphasizing community support amid the ongoing challenges faced by the Los Angeles area.
